Today, Declarations Inc. is celebrating their 23rd anniversary!
Declarations, Inc. was founded on February 26, 2003, beginning our journey to help adults with mental health diagnoses increase their skills and independence in their community.
The Declarations team has grown during the past 23 years, as has the number of individuals we have been able to serve. While our offices may have moved within Monmouth County and the world may look different than it did in 2003, our mission remains the same:
The mission of everyone involved at Declarations is to provide educational and emotional support to people with disabilities by operating facilities and programs that are dedicated to their recovery, rehabilitation, and wellness.
To advocate for the rights of self-reliance, personal dignity, and independence for all individuals with disabilities and to advance the understanding that even those with the most severe disability can lead a productive and joyful life.
We look forward to continuing to honor our mission to help those we work with to achieve their hopes, dreams, and aspirations while thriving in their community. We also look forward to continuing to welcome new members to our team, helping to spread awareness and decrease stigma regarding mental health in our community.
