About Us - Board of Trustees

Marc S. Block, M.S.
Marc S. Block is founder and Principal of CFQ International LLC. The company is responsible for providing Six Sigma quality training, coaching, and consulting support for client Six Sigma implementation efforts. Mr. Block has more than twelve years of experience in quality program implementation, management consulting, and project management. Mr. Block’s knowledge of quality management includes strategic planning, business process reengineering, business function assessment, and leadership skills development. He has also served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Block graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics. He also holds a Masters of Science Degree from Rutgers University in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Donald Corke, Esq.
Mr. Corke is a graduate of Fordham University where he received a BA & MA in Philosophy & Teaching (Classics – Latin & Greek) Other advanced degrees include: PhL (Ecclesiastical degree), magna cum laude from Woodstock College (license to teach philosophy in Roman Catholic seminaries) and a JD from Seton Hall Law School. After a 25 year career as a school teacher, he began his second career at Continental Insurance as AVP & Litigation Counsel. Last year, he retired as Senior Environmental Counsel. As a family member of two individuals with mental illness, Mr. Corke has lifelong experience in working to help others overcome the barriers that a disability presents.

Claire Halligan Corliss, Esq.
Mrs. Corliss is a graduate of Cornell University and Fordham Law School. She has extensive professional experience in advocating for families touched by mental illness, developmental disability, substance abuse, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate in both New York and New Jersey, she supervised direct advocacy of children in foster care, residential treatment centers and facilities, hospitals and other out of home placements. She is also the founder the CASA program in the Bronx, New York. She continues to work with disability groups and non-profit organizations in both New York and New Jersey.

James Marhold, M.A.S.
James R. Marhold has 20 years of experience in providing community based programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness. During this time, he provided community based services to over 500 individuals and their families and has trained over 1000 human services workers throughout New Jersey. He has been a keynote speaker in the area of disability services at numerous statewide conferences. In 2002, he received an award from the Supportive Housing Association of New Jersey and the Corporation for Supportive Housing for his work in creating new strategies to promote and develop supportive living programs. Mr. Marhold achieved a Masters Degree in Non-Profit Administration as is currently completing his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Non-Profit/Governmental Management.

Jeryl Rempell, Ph.D.
A graduate of Columbia University, Dr. Rempell has been in private practice for over 20 years. She is certified as a family therapist who provides individual, marital and family therapy for both adults and children. She is experienced in providing counseling to individuals with developmental disabilities. Dr. Rempell is a Clinical Supervisor for doctoral candidates from Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She is also a consultant for both the St. Barnabas Medical Center’s Domestic Violence Prevention Program and the New Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter.

Christopher Puscian
Mr. Puscian is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He is a senior executive at an award winning global investment bank and premier global asset management business. He is a founding member of the CEO Club of Philadelphia and a board member of the Greater South Jersey Chorus. His charitable works include riding in the 2 day, 150 mile bike tour to support the MS Society. A former professional ice hockey player, Mr. Puscian also coaches local children’s hockey teams.

Raymond Velcko
Mr. Velcko has worked in the real estate and property management field for more than 15 years. His experience includes responsibility for the management of more than 70 condominium associations throughout New Jersey. Mr. Velcko is also the principal of three real estate investment companies, and has considerable experience in the acquisition and management of multiple properties.
